The Northern California Naginata Federation (NCNF) will host two special events in October. The first event will be a special practice session with Midori Yasui, a visiting sensei from Japan; the second event will be its annual fall seminar and tournament .
Yasui sensei will teach a special class on Saturday Oct. 18, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm at the International Performing Arts Center (IPAC) located at 6148 Bollinger Road, in San Jose:
The following weekend, the NCNF will hold its 2014 fall seminar on Saturday Oct. 25, from noon to 6 pm, at the El Cerrito Community Center. The NCNF testing, board meeting, and tournament will be held on Sunday Oct. 26, from 10:30 am to 5 pm, also at the El Cerrito Community Center.
There will be a $50 seminar fee. The tournament will be a non-official practice tournament, and is covered by the seminar fee. These events are open to NCNF members of any skill level. Please RSVP by October 10.
